One address, and I am the person reading it. Most things get an answer, though it can take a week or two.

What helps me answer

What you have already tried, roughly how long you tried it, and what happened. Those three things settle more questions than a photograph does. If a question turns out to be one a lot of people are asking, it may become an article, and I will say so before that happens.

What I cannot do

I cannot diagnose anything, cannot tell you whether a specific product is right for your skin, and do not take paid consultations. I have not seen your face and would be guessing along with you. Anything painful, spreading, or not settling belongs in front of a doctor rather than in my inbox.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, say so and show me why. A study I read badly or a claim I let through is worth more to me than a compliment, and the fix goes on the page with a note about what changed.

Brands and PR

There are no sponsored articles dressed up as ordinary ones and no paid placements in any list. Read the affiliate disclosure and the editorial policy before sending anything. Receiving a product does not commit me to liking it, to writing about it, or to writing about it kindly.

Using what is here

Quote a paragraph and link back, no permission needed. Republishing a whole article needs asking first.
