Fresh Faced Living earns money from some of the links in its articles. This page explains exactly how, in keeping with the Federal Trade Commission guidance on endorsements.
The short version
Some outbound links are affiliate links. If you follow one and buy something, the retailer may pay me a small commission. What you pay does not change, and you are never charged extra for arriving through this site.
Where these links appear
Inside articles, where a specific product or retailer is mentioned. Every article that contains one carries a disclosure at the top, before the writing rather than buried under it, so you know before you read rather than after.
What the commission does not buy
It does not buy a mention, a conclusion, or a place in a list. I write about a thing because it is worth explaining, then link where it makes sense. Products that pay nothing are recommended here regularly, and products that would pay well are left out when they do not deserve the words. Where a cheaper option is as good, the article says so even though the cheaper option pays less.
Free products
If a company sends something at no charge, the article says so in plain language. Being sent a product is not a promise to cover it and never a promise to like it.
Programs
This site participates in affiliate programs run by retailers and by affiliate networks. Those partners set their own cookie and tracking practices once you leave this site, described in the privacy policy.
